Multiplication Movement

A pathway reimagined
Multiplication Movement

The Multiplication Movement represents the continual momentum and motion of the Multiplication Process. Much like a water wheel, even after one bucket is full, the next fills up, and the wheel is pushed. Representative of both the apple seed and the blossom. One central axis of prayer that makes everything move.

*Please note: We believe these resources provide valuable insight and encouragement as we seek to create a multiplication movement across the region and in every church. As with any book or resource, you may find yourself not fully agreeing with everything it shares. We encourage you to engage prayerfully and thoughtfully, appreciating the overall value of each resource and drawing from them what you find useful for your context.*

For such a time as this

Asset 12.png

Not just a moment...
But a MOVEMENT.

Rooted in prayer, our six-stage cycle begins. First, we make believers by sharing the gospel, testimonies, and the Word. Maintaining our prayerful focus, the axis shifts to making disciple-makers—resourcing and supporting those called to go deeper. Next, we prayerfully develop leaders rooted in Scripture and evangelism, then deploy marketplace multipliers, ministers, and missionaries into strategic roles. This leads to our final rotation: discerning who to send out for church planting. Driven by prayer and momentum, this new church restarts the cycle, passing the process on to the next generation.

A culture building cycle
Mission + Movement

How do you effectively build something to last? A culture? A church? A relationship?

Root it in prayer.

The point of the Multiplication Movement is not to end at the churches. It is, however, the leaping point to replicate the cycle and keep the momentum into the next church, culture, and congregation. Culture is not made overnight; it is prayed over and discerned.

We are not a stagnant Kingdom: we are the doers, makers, and leaders through the Word of God.

The culture is built on the foundation of prayer, the Word of God, and a deep understanding of the mission we have been given as the Bride of Christ.

Making a Multiplying Culture

1

Give everything to the Lord
Prayer at the center

The GLR exists to prayerfully equip, empower, and support pastors and leaders to faithfully seek and save the lost, make disciple-makers, develop and mobilize leaders, and multiply churches.

WE PRAY FIRST, following Jesus’ example (Matt. 26:39), we pray the prayer of indifference, surrendering our ideas and egos to Holy Spirit, knowing only His plan leads to Kingdom impact and fruit that multiplies exponentially.

Bringing people to Christ
New Believers

Every test becomes part of a testimony. Every God sighting is a moment to share with a neighbor, friend, family member, or even a stranger.

God can and will use anyone to build His Kingdom.

Sometimes the best way for someone to enter into a relationship with Jesus is to hear from someone else. Although the enemy would love to dissuade us through fear and anxiety, sharing your faith could be the difference between a life made new and one of feeling alone.

Sharing our faith and the Love of God can change our culture.

Connecting people with the Word
Cultivating Disciple Makers

The Word of God is the best foundation for making disciples. Connecting over the Bible builds a basis in Scripture in the steps toward making other disciples.

Jesus made disciples who went on to make more disciples.

How can we try to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the disciples that we make? Get into the Word and keep it and prayer close to your heart as you progress on this journey.

Clean hands and a pure heart.

Moving forward with your team
Raising Spirit Anointed Leaders

How do you lead someone to a new set of circumstances? A new position? Responsibility? Base your leadership in prayer, scripture, & discerning rather than deciding.

A leader who is quiet before the Lord can more easily hear His voice.

Make your relationship with God central in your leadership journey. Stay prayerful, humble, and ready to jump to any task the Lord calls you to.

The simple truth is, our ministry FOR Jesus should come out of our intimacy WITH Jesus.

Seeing the world as Jesus sees it
Producing Marketplace
Multipliers, Ministers & Missionaries

We are called as believers to share our faith, and some of us get called to larger scopes of evangelism. Is it in this country? Could be, but maybe not. Is it at your day job while you do bi-vocational ministry tasks? Sure!

God guides our placement: in obedience, we go.

Sometimes we are expecting a loud booming sign to go to a certain state, country, county, or city. Truthfully, God often speaks in the quiet of prayer and discerning. Keep space for Him and quiet your soul before Him. Let Holy Spirit guide, not your own agenda.

A whisper is hard to hear in a wind tunnel.

Growing the Kingdom of God
Planting churches + building a lasting culture

22 Million people is an unimaginable number of folks for our human brains to process, but for God, He knows each person's heart.

No amount of people is impossible for God to bring into the Kingdom.

How do churches fit in? The church is the Bride of Christ, a place of worship, a community, and for those who call Jesus Lord and Savior, a life-giving place. In practice, anywhere can be a church. A car ride, a house bible study, a gym group on Wednesdays, and more. The Lord is so creative in the way He ministers to and for us. Multiple ways for people to come into a relationship with Him through His followers' obedience.

Anywhere can be used to glorify God and save lost people.

Church Planting Resources

Grow the Kingdom
Pass along the culture

Building the church building or having a gathering is not the end of the pruning and fruition that God has for us. Sharing this culture of prayer, bringing people to Christ, making disciples, raising leaders, producing marketplace multipliers, and ultimately starting a church in your community shows a basis in our relationship with God.

This relationship is watched by others, intriguing to outsiders, and reciprocal to those who enter in.

Building the Kingdom of God is not from point A to point B. It is a journey of continual growth, strengthened followers, and a discerning body of Christ.

Our relationship with God continues like each season into the next:  changing, growing, & meeting new brothers and sisters along the way.
